Do Hunter fans come with a warranty?
Yes, most of our ceiling fans feature a Limited Lifetime Motor Warranty. Other components like blades, light kits, and remote controls are typically covered by a one-year limited warranty.
Can I use a Hunter fan in an outdoor setting?
Only fans specifically rated as 'Damp Rated' or 'Wet Rated' should be used outdoors. Damp-rated fans are suitable for covered porches or patios, while wet-rated fans can handle direct exposure to rain.
How do I find the right downrod length for my ceiling height?
For optimal airflow, we recommend that the fan blades be at least 7 feet above the floor. For higher ceilings, you may need an extension downrod to bring the fan to the ideal height of 8 or 9 feet.
